Monocular Night Vision Devices

One problem with using regular night vision goggles is that when they are magnified and focused on a distance object it is very difficult to quickly adjust your view from something in the distance to something close up. For example you are driving a vehicle and need to check the gauges on the dashboard. It can be very disorienting to switch from one distance to the other.

With a single eye device such as a night vision monocular, this allows the user the benefits of both world’s by setting the night vision monocular to the viewing distance, and still using their naked eye for viewing close objects.

With technology advances, a night vision monocular can provide all the technological benefits that a full night vision goggle device can provide, but a somewhat cheaper price.

If you do decide to upgrade to a dual night vision google arrangement, with particular modules you can mount two monocular devices together to provide full night vision to both eyes.
